That photo of Kgafela oa Magogodi by Victor Dlamini is so fine. I really like the intensity of the subject's focus, the intimacy, the independent mien. High art.
The colours in picure#1 are irresistible. I’ve always loved the red and tea green colours of Blood Kin’s cover and it looks so good at interesting angels with the various shades of pink chairs, the carmine shirt, cheeks, lipstick. Great pic.
I remember first seeing photo 6 when it was loaded by book.co.za
i think its a fantastic picture of the two Khumalo brothers.
